Interior view of residential HVAC ductwork — temporary stand-in pending real before/after duct photos

Your ducts haven't been cleaned since the house was built.

Dust, humidity residue, and years of recirculated air sit in the trunks and returns — especially in South Florida homes that run AC almost year-round.

You get a firm written quote before we start, camera footage before and after, and no on-site upsell ambush. Same-day quote response is typical.

Do your ducts actually need cleaning?

Most homes don't need a cleaning on a schedule. They need one when something changes. Check these five.

  • Dust back on supply vents within a week

You wipe the registers and they gray out again. That usually means the duct run is feeding it.

  • Musty smell when the AC kicks on

South Florida humidity settles in dark duct runs. That first blast of air tells you something.

  • Allergy or asthma symptoms worse indoors

If you feel better outside than in your own living room during pollen season, look at the ducts.

  • Home built before 2000 with no service record

A lot of South Florida homes still run original ductwork. No paperwork usually means never cleaned.

  • Recent remodel or rodent activity

Drywall dust, insulation fibers, and nesting debris end up in the system. Cleaning is part of the reset.

If none of these apply, you probably don't need it yet. We'll tell you that on the phone.

What's actually included?

A real duct cleaning is a system job — not a wipe of the nearest three vents. Here's the scope.

Included What that means
Supply & return vents Full register set covered in a standard clean — count confirmed on the quote.
Main trunk lines Supply and return trunks agitated and vacuumed under negative pressure.
Returns & blower compartment Return plenum and blower housing cleaned — where most of the dust lives.
Before / after camera footage Included. You see the inside before we start and after we finish.
Sanitizing / antimicrobial Optional add-on — only when contamination is found. Not sold as a default upsell.

What a $99 special usually covers: a few supply vents near the living room. Trunks, returns, and the blower compartment stay dirty — then the price climbs on site. Ask them to put the full scope in writing before they arrive.

How is the price set?

We don't hide behind "call for pricing." Two variables drive your quote. Everything else is noise.

System count

One central system is a different job than a dual-system two-story. We price per system so you're not subsidizing someone else's layout.

Vent count

More registers means more time on the negative-pressure clean. We confirm the count before the quote is final — not after the truck is in your driveway.

  • Firm written quote before any work starts. You approve the number. Then we schedule.
  • No upsell ambush. Camera inspection first. Optional sanitizing only if contamination shows up — and you say yes.
  • Same scope we list above. Trunks, returns, blower, footage. Not a coupon that covers three vents.

What happens after you request a quote?

Three steps. No mystery visit. No pressure close in your living room.

  1. Quote by phone or form

    Same day response typical

Tell us your vent count and how many systems. You get a firm written quote — not a bait number.

  2. On-site inspection with camera

    About 30 minutes

We put a camera in the ducts before any work starts. You see what's in there. Then you decide.

  3. The clean — plus after footage

    2–4 hours typical

Negative-pressure clean of trunks, vents, returns, and blower. After footage included so you can compare.

Air duct cleaning questions, answered straight

Short answers first. Detail if you want it.

How much does it really cost?

Price depends mainly on how many systems you have and how many vents need cleaning. We give you a firm written quote before any work starts — no surprise add-ons once we're on site. If a $99 ad got you here, ask what that number actually covers before you book it.

How long does it take?

Most single-system homes take 2–4 hours once we start. The on-site camera inspection before work is about 30 minutes. Multi-system homes take longer — we'll say so on the quote.

Do I need to be home?

Yes for the inspection and the start of the clean, so you can see the before footage and approve the scope. After that, you don't have to hover — we'll walk you through the after footage when we finish.

Will it help my allergies?

If dust, mold spores, or renovation debris in the ducts are part of what you're breathing, cleaning removes that load. It won't fix outdoor pollen or a dirty filter you never change — but for duct-borne irritants, yes, it helps.

How often should ducts be cleaned?

Not on a fixed calendar. Clean when there's a reason: visible dust return, musty startup smell, post-remodel debris, or rodent activity. Many homes go years between cleanings. If none of the symptoms apply, you probably don't need it yet.

Do you clean dryer vents too?

Yes. Dryer vents clog with lint and are a fire risk — especially in older South Florida homes with long horizontal runs. You can book duct cleaning, dryer vent, or both on the same visit.

Why are you more than the $99 ad I saw?

Those ads usually cover a handful of vents and leave the trunks, returns, and blower untouched — then the upsell starts on site. Our quote covers the full scope we list on this page, with camera proof before and after. You pay for the job that was actually described.
